At last night’s Borough Council meeting, the Mayor (Mr .). ChrystaW) reported on a conversation he had had with the Board Inspector (Air Stuekie) re the establishment of a district high school locally. He said it was highly probable that such a school would be established locally, and he was of opinion that the Council should help this matter along by offering the use of the Town Hall supper-room and room upstairs at Ihe Hall lor classrooms. it was decided that the matter of classroom accommodation at I lie Town Hall be referred to the incoming Council for favourable consideration.
