BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S STATEMENT. The Borough Treasurer reported as follow's at last night’s meeting of the Borough Council:— During the month the sum of Ci 09 10/- has been received, and has been placed to the credit of the follov'ing accounts: —District Fund £571 6/8, Cemetery £4, Drainage Construction Loan £134 10/2. The ledger balances at the 31st March were as follows: Hospital and Charitable Aid ac. £l9 2/11, Town Hall ac. £472 19/6, both at debit, a total of £492 2/5. The accounts at credit were:— Cemetery £lOl 7/9, Drainage Construction Loan £3OO 14/6, Gasworks £454 10/11, General £136 3/7, Interest. £9B 0/5, Library £B6 0/7, Reserves £153 10/1, Town Hall Pictures £547 16/2, Water and Drainage Loan £535 2/11, Waterworks £22 15/6, a total of £2,436 2/5. SUMMARY.
