NEW HOSPITAL AT TAUMARUNUI.

Tanmarunui, April 15. The new hospital was officially opened to-dav by Mr F. Langstone, TP., in the unavoidable absence of Sir Maui Pomnre (Minister for Health). 'fhe new building occupies a commanding position overlooking the town, and was erected and furnished at a. cost of £52,000. It is equipped with the most modern appliances obtainable, and is considered ouc of the most up-to-date institutions in the Dominion. The wards will accommodate 52 beds, and the building is so constructed that additional wards can be added when they are necessary. There was a large attendance at the opening ceremony.
