MOUTOA NOTES.

The Mouton School benefit fund shop day held in Foxton last Thursday was a great success. The Committee wish to thank all those, who patronised the shop or in any way assisted with contributions of produce etc., and especially Mrs Lampp and Mrs Eder. The school funds will benefit to the extent of £SO as a result of the effort. The results of the various competitions are as follows: Sucking pig, Mrs King; cake, Mrs Eder; lamb, Clarence Anderson; dinner, Mr Prentice; bridle, Master Healey; coil of rope, Mr MeKenner. The box of 500 cigarettes is to he drawn at the school dance to I*> held in the Moutoa Hall on Friday, 24th inst., of which further particulars will he published next week.
