NO-LICENSE CAMPAIGN.

There was a good attendance at the Presbyterian schoolroom on Thursday evening, when stirring addresses were delivered by Mr C. R. Edmond, Dominion organiser of the N.Z. Alliance, and Air C. H. Poole, ex-M.P. The Mayor (Mr .John Chrystall) presided, and welcomed the speakers. The addresses wore listened to with marked interest., and at the conclusion both speakers were accorded hearty votes of thanks. Report crowded out. of this issue.
