ERRING LAWYERS PUNISHED. Christchurch, March 27. Before Mr Justice McGregor this morning, the Canterbury Law Society moved for a rule nisi against Lionel L. Hitchings to show cause why he should not be struck oil the Law Practitioners’ roll. Last year he had pleaded guilty to failing to account for moneys. The order was made. A similar order was made against Martin Joseph O’Brien, of Ximaru, who had pleaded guilty to the forgery of a bill of exchange.
