levin wins pairs CHAMPIONSHIP.

The linnl match in the champion of champions pairs tourney, uudei' the auspices of the Manawatu Bowling Centre, was played at Terrace End green yesterday between Rankin and <i. Wilson (Levin) and Bissetl and Dr. Paterson (Pallia tua), the former winning 25 —8 on ; i 1‘) head game. Prior to this, the semi-final between the Pahiatua rink and J. H. and N. 11. Nash (Palmerston N.) was completed. When play was suspended last week, the score >was 17 —13 on the 14th head in Paterson’s favour, and the play-olf gave the Pahiatua pair the victory by 21 —19. Bissct and Paterson then met Rankin and Wilson.
