THE MOUAT CASE.
RONES SENT TO DUNEDIN.
Dunedin, March 25. It is understood that a quantity of material gathered by the police from the Mouat’s garden in Beckwith Road, Christchurch, was brought. to Dunedin on Saturday for examination by Dr. Gowland, Professor of Anatomy at Otago University. It is stated that a number of burnt and broken bones was discovered in the material, but in view of the serious charge against Mount, no indication can be given meantime whether they were human bones. Dr. Lowland will, in the circumstances, be called to give evidence when the murder charge against Mouat is brought before the Police Court again in Christchurch.
