Mr A. Fowler, of Norbiton Road, advertises a quiet house cow for sale, with heifer calf. The Mauawatu County Council gives notice by advertisement in this issue that ten per cent, will he added to all rates outstanding on the 28th instant. Mr J. Desmond notifies by advertmen t in this issue that he has aeotpied the agency for AdamsBruee cake, which may now be obtained from, his shop. A line of Kaiapoi tweed trousers in Messrs Millar and Giorgi’s advertisement appearing in our last issue at 10s fid, should have read ! Its tkl a pair. The firm informs us that the mistake was an evidence of the value of advertising, bi rr demands being made for the line. The mistake was not a printer's error, but was sent out under a misapprehension by the advertising agents.
