FOXTON HARBOUR BOARD.

The Foxton Harbour Board met in the Board’s Office on Saturday. Present: Air J. Link-later, AI.P. (chairman), Messrs, Barber, Chrystall and Signal, also the architect Mr E. West. A visit of inspection was paid to the new Harbour Board sheds. The secretary was instructed to invite tenders for the HUing in and formation of the three approaches to the goods shed, approximately about 300 yards of sand, and 30 yards of clay. The acceptance of tenders was left in the hands of the local committee (Messrs. Barber, Chrystal'l, and Signal) with power to act. It was decided to apply to the Foxton Borough Council to install a water service into the goods shed and offices, and aisc| to obtain permission from the Railway Department to carry the water main under the railway lines. Several other matters were then dealt with in committee.
