HARVEST FESTIVAL.

Mo.-t. enjoyable services were held ai the Methodist Church on Sunday lust in connection with the annual Harvest Festival, la the evening a large choir under the eondiKdorship of Mr 11. Osborne rendered the anthem "(i Lord lie Merciful,” and .Miss F. Chalk sang the solo “His Lye is on the Sparrow." The congi ega l ion joined with the choir in the chorus of "Wltal Shall (he Harvest lie.'" the verse parts being taken by Messrs Hoffman, King, Osborne and Powell. Mrs Peryman officiated as organist. The church was tastefully decorated for the occasion. A sale of work and of harvest gifts will he held in the Methodist schoolroom to-morrow afternoon and evening, when all goods will be offered at most reasonable rates. Atternoon tea will be provided. In the evening there will he competitions and fun for all. Admission will he free.
