INFANTILE PARALYSIS.

' Six more eases were admitted to the Palmerston N. Hospital yesterday, making a total of nine since Sunday. All the patients have contracted :■ disease in a mild form. DEATH AT NELSON. Nelson, Last Night. A woman from Motueka, who was admitted to the Nelson Hospital on Tuesday suffering from infantile paralysis died to-day. DOCTOR CLAIMS A CURE. Auckland, Last Night. The Hospital Board accepted the offer of Dr. Dukes, a registered medical practitioner, from North Auckland, to cure cases of infantile paralysis in Auckland Hospital. Dr. Dukes claimed remarkable results in private treatment. His work will be supervised by Drs. Keith Mackay and Grinson. The chairman of the Board said he was satisfied with the work in the hospital and the whole-hearted manner the doctors and nurses toiled. The motion did not indicate he was dissatisfied but he wanted to put a spoke in the wheels of the insistent claims that this or that mail had a cure.
