DROWNING ACCIDENT.
FORDING A RIVER. _____ New Plymouth, .March It). William limit (30), was drowned while at templing to ford the Awakino river at the mouth on horseback on Sunday morning. He leaves Ti wife and eight children. His biother first attempted to cross, but returned, saying it was unsafe. William however, actually crossed and then turned back and got into deep water. In September last he was with his nephew Duncan Hepburn when the latter was drowned.
