The Stale Miners’ Union held a stop-work meeting to-day to discuss the action to be taken towards those who are undertaking co-oper-ative contracts in Lhe James and Dinas sections. The meeting was not largely attended, as the Kewanui men worked as usual. Not withstanding the union’s decision to call the coal obtained “black” a party of co-operative miners resumed work to-day in the James mine. The Department is awaiting the decision of the union meeting before taking action.
