The Minister has replied that he regrets some misapprehension has arisen. Me says he asked Sir Geo. Later, Mr Bollard met. the chairman of the. dales committee and the secretary of the Conference. With seven of the conference’s twelve recommendations he agreed, with four he disagreed and with one he did not think it could be said there was absolute disagreement. The Minister maintains that the intention of Parliament was carried out.
