DAYLIGHT EXPRESSES.
BETWEEN AUCKLAND AND WELLINGTON. Auckland, March (i. Daylight expresses are to commence running between Auckland .iad Wellington after Easter, according io a statement made 10-dav by tim lion. J. (i. Coates (.Minister of Railways). Mr Coates slates that an express will leave Auckland at eight o’clock in tin 1 morning and will arrive in Wellington al II p.m. A Train from Wellington will also leave at about 3 a.m. arriving in Auckland at FI p.m. The Minister also states that New I’iyaumlh-Wellington trains will be ■ peeded up. Moreover, the suburban -ervices will have to be overhauled. The inner area is being threatened Jiroiigh people wauling to I ravel by 1 raiucar or motor bits, but lie proposed to enlarge the outer suburban area, so as to induce the people to set lie further out.
