SHIP'S FIREMAN MISSING.

Auckland, Last Night. John Cal land, fireman, on the Korimiko, who has been missing from the vessel since Tuesday morning, is thought to have been drowned. The missing man slept on the after hatch on Monday night and was M'on there at 5.30 on Tuesday, but not since. He was dressed only in bis pants and singlet. His effects, which include a bank book and money, witch were left in the forecastle. Cnlland joined the vessel at Melbourne. Ilis age is 3U, and his father lives at Wellington.
