RE-OPENING OF SCHOOLS.

POSTPONED TILL MARCH 9. Wellington, Last Night. ■ Cabinet has decided that in view of the continuance of the infantile paralysis epidemic, schools throughout New Zealand will not reopen till Monday, March 9th., at the earliest. A further announcement on the subject will be made later, in ease the day for re-opening is again postponed. The desire of the Health Department is to give all concerned at least a week’s notice of the re-opening of the schools. All the Education districts in New Zealand, except the Wanganui district have started refresher courses for teachers.
