ALL BLACKS IN CANADA.
EXHIBITION MATCH. Vancouver, February 21. The All Blacks’ inter-island match resulted: —North 25, South 14. The weather was rainy and the ground muddy and slippery. Four thousand spectators were present. The teams were: —
North Island: —Nepia, Svcnson, Barry, Lucas, Leroy, Cooker, Mill, Porter, DonalS, Clark, Harvey, M. Brownlie, C. Brownlie, West, Guppies. South Island. —R. Rowan, Robilliard, Brown, Steel, Nicholls, M. Rowan, Dally, White, Munro, McCleary. Masters, Stewart, Choate, Clarke, Thornton. Vancouver supplied'seven players.
Tn the second half Sherwood replaced Clarke, while Barry withdrew hurt and Cooke had a shoulder hurt in a scrimmage.
Tn the first spell, tries were scored by North by Donald and Mill, which were converted by Cooke and Nepia respectively, and for (lie Soli;]], Munrc, Nicholls and Robilliard crossed the line, the last-named from a pass from Dailey, Nicholls converting the try. Donald then added a couple more tries for North and the spell ended: North 16. South 11.
In the Second spell Svenson, Donald and M. Brownlie scored tries for the North. The scorer of the other Soutli Island trv is unnamed. Before the game presentations were made of a souvenir silver cup and individual souvenirs, subscribed in popularly small sums aggregating 700 dollars. The All Blacks leave to-night and embark for San Francisco.
