WANGANUI MEETING. SECOND DAY’S RESULTS. The Wanganui Jockey Club meeting concluded on Saturday in fine weather, with a large attendance. The track was in fine order. The totalisator took £39,1124, making a total of £73,8094 for the meeting, compared with £71.8384 last year. OKOIA HACK HANDICAP.— Passionate 1, Shining Armour 2, Knighthood 3. Won by a length and a-lialf. Time 1.56 3/5. Autumn Handicap. —Glenross 1, Bright Day 2, Siaosi 3. Won by half a. length. Time 1.57 3-5. Jackson Stakes.—Lady Cavendish 1, Tamatete 2, Tukia 3. Won by half a head and a length. Time Ll 3 2-5.
Harrison Handicap.—Black Cat 1. Dal Eaton 2, Anklet 3. Won by one and a-half lengths, two lengths between second and third. Time 1.2. Fordell Hurdles. —Sling Camp 1, Wench 2, Dubious 3. Won by two lengths each way. Time 3.13 4-5. Earle Stakes. —Surveyor 1. Kilfaire 2, Spoony 3. Won by a length, half between second and third. Time 2.43.
Matarawa Handicap.—Lipsol 1, Euphonium 2, Sunny Vale 3. Won bv half a length, two between second and third. Time 1.14 2-5.
Farewell Handicap. —Civility 1, The Lamb 2, Inferno 3. Won by three-quarters of a length, a neck between second and third. Time 1.13 4-5.
