“TRIUMPH.” Leatriee Joy will he seen at the Town Hall Cabaret to-morrow evening in “Triumph,” in which she plays the role of a working girl who becomes a great singer. Supporting her are Rod La Rocque. and* Victor Varconi, a Cecil B. De Ml “find.” De Mille has given us other great story of life, a story in which the fortunes of two men, by reason of a freak will, are switched and of the struggles of the rich man who becomes poor to win the girl he loves. Supporting “Triumph” .are a comedy “Oh Billy!” the latest News and a Travelogue. Cabaret prices as usual. With the completion .of “The Heart Buster,” which is screening on Saturday, Tom Mix observes his golden anniversary on the screen. lie is 50 pictures old. Beginning with Fox in 191 G in “Cupid’s Round Up,” he has produced an average of more than eight pictures a year and has yet to make a failure. The “Heart Buster” is full of thrills, the work of Tony, the horse, being an absolute revelation, in one scene he rescues Mix from prison. Another Zane Grey success, “Wanderer of the Waste Land,” is hooked for screening at the Town Hall next. week. This feature is presented in natural colours. ROYAL* PICTURES. A great picture, taken on a South Sea Island, is “Lost and Found,'’ with an all star cast, which has just been released by the “Big Four." It is something out of the ordinary and patrons at the Royal Theatre to-morrow night are in for a real treat. The fourth race of "Fast Steppers,” entitled “The Thoroughbreds” will also keep you alive with excitement. These stories have been filmed by Universal and star Billy Sullivan, Shannon Day, James Quinn and Frank Kingsley. A brilliant east of well-known screen players supports Harry Carey in “The Miracle Baby,” to be screened on Friday night. As the leading woman, Margaret Landis amply tills a most exacting role, in which big scene after scene requires the utmost in emotional playing. “The Miracle Baby” is based, on Frank Pierce’s American Magazine story, and was adapted by Messrs Bernstein and Jacard. The picture is full of tense moments as only a Harry Carey picture can be. EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. The public is reminded of the euchre party and dance to he held in the Town Hall supper-room, this evening. This will be the last of the series and special prizes will be awarded.
