SYDNEY TOWN HALL.

PROTEST AGAINST USE FOR DISLOYAL PURPOSES. Sydney, February 20. Reform Aldermen made an official protest to the Lord Mayor against- the Town Hall being used for llie entertainment of the Irish Republicans and against the ommission of the loyal toast. The Reform spokesman said the c itizens of Sydney as a whole were loyal to the King and Empire and only a small and insignificant minority would desire the Town Hall to be used for the encouragement and support of men and women who were not only disloyal to the King and Empire, but also to the Irish Free State. The Government precedent, set by the Lord Mayor, is %ne that resounds to the discredit of the city. All loyal citizens are much pained and grieved by the incident.
