Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes for the purpose of erecting ;i Public; Library, Readingioom, Rest-room, etc., on a site adjoining the Council Chambers, to raise a special loan of £1,500 at a rate of interest not exceeding six per cent per annum, with a Sinking Fund not exceeding one per cent. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan and for the payment of interest charges thereon, to appropriate and pledge as security a Special Rate of seveniecn sixty-fourths of a Id in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Fox (on; such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and to be made and levied by resolution of the Council to be passed after the said Special Loan has been agreed in by the Ratepayers.
