BOWLING .
On Thursday evening a match was commenced for the Nye Ferns between the holders (Roore’s rink) and a rink representative of Saturday players. When play had reached the eighth head, rain intervened, and the game was abandoned. Four rinks from Levin Club will visit Foxton on Wednesday next to participate in friendly play. Bowlers and croquet players will bring a basket to assist with the catering for that day;
