The Mayor explained that this work would be subsidised by the Highways Board, as it was the continuation of the main highway through the borough. ft was decided to communicate with Mr Pedersen re the proposed butter factory for Foxton. It was decided to endorse the protest against the suggested deletion of the Foxton-Shannon road from the main highways. Other minor matters were dealt with.
