BREENS GET BAIL,
Napier, February 1. At the inquest on William Chalmers Clark, who died after a fracas on the Marine Parade on January 25, a verdict was returned that death was caused by a diseased heart, embarrassed by the excitement of a struggle causing heart failure. Ihe medical evidence was to the effect that only superficial injuries were suffered by Clark: The accused, John and Maurice Breen, were remanded on a charge of manslaughter, bail being allowed.
