ARTILLERY CAMP.

The detraining of the guns at the local railway station on Saturday and yesterday area led a good deal of interest,. „ The big guns are now in position in readiness for Thursday's and Friday’s shoot. The tiring will commence at It) o'clock and continue on the days mentioned. This morning ihe six pounders were taken out in readiness for tiring this afternoon. The public will be permitted to witness Lite firing of the big guns from certain positions on Thursday and Friday. Residents near the camp are requested to keep the windows of their houses open on Thursday and Friday, to prevent breakages. An “at home” will be held at the camp at 2 o’clock on Friday. The camp has already been visited by a number of people. On Sunday a church parade was held at All Saints’ Church, at 11 a.m.
