ALLEGED GAMING HOUSE.

Nelson, .human’ 20. William AToxey appeared on remand on a charge of using premises in Trafalgar St., known as a fruit and confectionery shop as a common gaming house. Senior-Sergeant Barrett asked for a remand as the accused’s solicitor was away. Other charges he said, were pending, one against a. person for allowing the premises to he used as a. common gaming house, and a further one against another person, alleging bookmaking.

The accused was remanded until February 9th on similar bail.
