WOMAN TAKES HER LIFE.

WHILE MENTALLY DEPRESSED

Dunedin, January 19. An inquest was held to-day on the body of Mary McLean , aged 05. who had been found dead tins morning at her residence, with a gas tube in her mouth. Evidence showed that the deceased hud been in ill health lately. The Coroner brought in a vedict that the deceased had committed. suicide by suffocating herself with gas while in a state of extreme mental depression caused by illness.
