The sum of £1,707 19/10 was received during’ the month of December, and has been placed to the credit of the following accounts: — District Fund ac. £1,694 18/10, Drainage Connection Loan ac. £l2 11/-, Cemetery ac. 10/-. The ledger balances on the 31st December were as follows: — Imprest Cash £lO, General £779 8/4, Hospital and Char. Aid £23 14s 2d, Sanitation £167 15/6, Town Hall £274 7/1, Interest £SB 19/6, all at debit, a total of £1,314 4/7. The accounts at credit were: — Cemetery £lO5 2/9, Contractors’ deposits £5, Drainage Construction Loan £l3B 8/7, Gasworks £904 18s sd. House Drainage £264 3/1, Library £lO6 5/10, Reserves £lO3 10/1, Town Hall Pictures £412 12/3, Water and Drainage Loan £24 10/11, Waterworks £36 15/2, a total of £2,101 7/1. SUMMARY.
