NO ONE TO BLAME.
DEATH IN BEAUTY PARLOUR. Auckland, Yesterday. At the inquest into the death of Janet M'Mllan, who died suddenly while being treated by a toilet specialist, Florence Chatterton, stated that the deceased was one of her customers. Witness was treating hei’ for the removal of skin wrinkles on the face, and was being assisted by her husband. Five minutes after the treatment began the deceased became disti'essed, as if in a fit. Efforts were made to revive her and Dr Murray arrived in a few minutes, but death liad then occurred. John Chatterton said the treatment would not involve much distress to the person receiving it. Dr. Murray said that a post-mor-tem examination showed three distinct complaints, any one of which might have had a fatal result. The Coroner returned a verdict accordingly, adding that no blame was attachable to anyone.
