CAPTURED IN PELOKOUS SOUND. Blenheim, January 7. An eight foot seven inch gilled shark, a very rare species, was captured by a Blenheim Deep Sea Fishing Club party at Port Ligar, Pelorous Sound, during the holidays., Only two or three of thVs type of shark have been taken in New Zea* land waters previously. This shaft: was in excellent condition and was a beautiful blood red colour underneath with a greenish brown back.
