COMPULSORY ENROLMENT.

In accordance with the Legislature Amendment Act of November tilh, 1924, which provides for eomenrolment, all electors are now disfranchised. The fact that electors names already appear upon current electoral rolls does not absolve them from the duty of re-en-rolling, and neglect to comply with the Act renders electors liable on a first conviction to a fine of 5/- and tor any subsequent conviction, to a fine of 20/-. All those coming of age are also required to enrol within four months of the date of qualification. It is understood the Postal Department is about to make a start on the new roll and it behoves all qualified electors to take steps to see that they are enrolled at the earliest possible, date.
