(To The Edtor). . Sir, —We wish to correct . a re r port probably • reprinted from the “Levin Chronele,” appering in your last issue. A member of the deputation was reported as stating to the Power Board that Air Downes, gasworks manager was only, working half-time. The alleged statement was not made, being entirely contrary to fact.
