SCHOOL PRIZE-GIVING.

Parents and all residents inter esled in the local public school are cordially invited to be present at the Foxton school on Wednesday afternoon of next week, at 2.30 p.m. when the presentation of prizes. proficiency, attendance and swimming certificates will take place. Following this function, the children of the infant department will lit visited by- Father Christmas and will receive their Christmas gifts of toys and sweets from the Christmas tree which is being specially prepared. Aft* J. K. Hornblow, Chairman of the School Committee will present 1 the prizes, whilst Air At. E. Perreau will ,as usual, fill the role of Santa Claus. -
