Hospital. The lad was playing- with other children in a paddock where haymaking- was in progress and in the course of the games, a pitchfork entered the child’s eye, the point .•netrating the base of the brain. Upon his admission to the hospital, the hoy was operated upon, but at a late hour last evening bis condi!ion was reported to be serious.
