The receipts total £BSB 13/10, and are made up as follows: —Advertising space in Books, £ls 2/6, Citizens’ Queen £3Ol 0/9, Sports Queen £206 1/5,, Farmers’ Queen £l6B 14/11, Eire Brigade Queen £l3O 2/6, Coronation Concert £37 5/9. ' <• The expenditure totalled £239 .1/1, and was made up as follows: — Printing and Advertising £3B 3/6, ’Phone Charges £6 16/5, Benzine and Cartage £5 19/-, Car Hire £1 10/-, Tuning Pianos £4 16/-, Presents td Queens £l2 12/-, to. Queens’ Dresses £2O, Orchestra for Coronation £3, Hall Rent for Coronation and Rehearsals £5, Printing and Signwriting £2 13/6, Trip Round New Zealand £l4 1/8, Petty Expenses £ls 2/6, Miss Healey’s 15 per cent, on £728 .19/3, £lO9 6/6, Balance at Bank £619 12/9. The Carnival thus shows a nel sum of £619 12/9 having been raised.
