FOXTON STATE SCHOOL.
On Thursday evening of next week, a grand concert will be given in the Town Hall by the pupils of the local public seliooi. The programme to be presented is a most varied and entertaining one, containing part and action songs, songs and oh or uses in costume, fancy and school drill, dancing, humorous sketches, dialogues, etc.
Children from aljl departments, from the tiny tots of the infant classes to the older children of Standard VI. will participate, and every effort is being made to provide parents and patrons with a really lino treat. At school at present a great deal of hard work is being put in making special preparation for the event which the teachers hope will prove to be a. fitting “wind-up” to the year’s work. The charges for admission will he 2/- and .1/- and all are asked to procure tickets and patronise the entertainment.
The proceeds will he devoted to providing a Christmas tree for the infants, the balance going to the school library fund.
