PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the local branch of the Plunket Society was held on Alonday afternoon. There were present Mrs F. Robinson (president), in the chair, and Alesdames Pearson, F. Proctor, A. Ross, F. Dimmer, Chrystall, Christie, Rowlev, Trueman, Walton, and AleAlurray (lion, secretary). Apologies for absence were received from Alesdames Austin-Johns ton, Downes, Baker and McDonald.
Nurse Hughes’ monthly report showed that three visits had been made to Foxton; visits to homes 13; adults to office 28, children to office 21; new cases pne. It was decided that the next meeting of the committee be held on the usual day in February, the secretary to call a meeting in January if necessary. Mrs Walton and committee agreed to hold a shop day on the first Saturday in February while Mrs Frank Robinson and committee will make their effort in January. Mesdames Chystall and Rimmer were appinted visitors for the ensuing month, and Mesdames Pearson and Proctor for January. The Hower steward for December. will be Mrs Rowley and for January, Mrs D. Christie.
