PAINFUL ACCIDENT.
LADY’S FOOT TORN OFF.
Dannevirke, December 8. While motor-cycling to Woodvrilie yesterday, from Kiritaki, Roy Walker and Winnie Coldstream met with a serious accident. The cycle capsized when rounding a bend. Aliss Coldstream, who was riding pillion, got her right foot caught in the chain, (he limb being almost torn away. It had to be amputated subsequently at the Dannevirke Hospital. Walker sustained injuries to a knee.
