ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Hltham, December 3 Al eight o’clock last night, Mr J. McTavish, aged 42, a married man, with one child, was found unconscious on the main road to Stratford. On his removal to hospital it was found that cerebral hemorrhage was the cause of his condition, and be died suddenly at eight o’clock to-day. He had fallen off a horse or hail dismounted when overcome by giddiness and could have been by ihe roadside only a few seconds before lie was discovered as there is a large amount of traffic on the road. Taumarumii, December 3. Wilfred James Steinberg, aged 17, was found dead at 6.30 last night on a hill above Sunshine settlement with a shotgun beside the body. The circumstances point to suicide.
