CORONATION CEREMONY.
TOWN lIALL TO-NIGHT. Tlie linal scene in connection with the Band Carnival will take place in the Town Hall to-night, when the Coronation ceremony will lie enacted. It is anticipated that the hall will be crowded for the occasion. The stage will be specially decorated for the occasion and the setting should be very artistic and. spectactular. The queen Miss Madge Kirkland, will be accompanied by the following maids of honour: Miss Doris Morgan (Sports), Miss Avis Satherley (Farmers), Miss Mavis Dunn (Fire Brigade). The royal party will be accompanied by train bearers and flower girls. Mrs F. C. Hay will officiate as Mistress of the Bobos. The coronation officials are Messrs D. W. Robertson (Lord Hgh Chancellor), D. R. Barron (Lord High Ranger), 11. Hamer (Superintendent Royal Fire Force), J. Aitchison (Lord High President), J. Linklater, M.P. (Lord of the Realm), John Chrystall (Lord Mayor), J. X. Rider (Lord of the Privy Purse), R. McMurray (Lord High Constable), John Colder (Court Trumpeter) and other committee officials. Mr J. K. Homblow will officiate as Master of Ceremon-
The procedure will be as follows: Overture at 8 p.m., entrance of Court officials, reading of warrant of election, entrance of the queen and retinue, National Anthem, coronation, enthronement and recognition, reply from the throne, presentation of Maids of Honour, and bestowal of honours and Royal recognition. The orchestra and band will provide suitable music. The ceremony will last about two hours. A dance will follow the ceremony. The admission is 2/- and 1/-.
