HOWARD ELIOTT V. “N.Z. WORKER.” Wellington, Yesterday. The action brought by tile Rev. Howard Eliott against the “New Zealand Worker” Printing and Publishing Company, a claim of £IOO damages for alleged libel contained in what purported to be a report of an address by Air 11. E. Holland, M.P., published in the “Worker” of July 30 last, was continued before Mr E. Page, S.M. today. The plaintiff gave evidence and \ as subjected to a severe crossexamination by counsel for the defence. Counsel addressed the Court and ihe Magistrate reserved his decision.
