QUEEN ALEXANDRA’S BIRTHDAY.

London, December 1. All the newspapers publish long and appreciative articles on Queen Alexandra’s eightieth birthday today. Yesterday the Queen Mother attended Sandringham Church in the morning and later drove, out in an open motor car, enjoying the sunshine, which slie smilingly attributed to nature’s unfailing kindness to herself, as she always loved sunshine. The King and the Duke of Devonshire lunched with her at Sandringham IToush and Queen Mary, the-Prince of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of York, and others visited her in the evening. The birthday will he celebrated by a. Royal luncheon to-day. Telegrams and presents of flowers are pouring in.
