MILITARY CAMP.

Firing with the 4.5 howitzers was indulged in to-day and will be carried on all day to-morrow by the Eighth Battery, from Palmerston N., at present encamped on the racecourse.

Captain Pollard extends an invitation to the public to be present to witness the “shoot,” which is being held on Messrs Robinson Bros, property at the rear of the racecourse.
