TRIBUTE TO VISCOUNT JELLTCOE. . • eb Auckland, Last Night. In referring to the work, of Viscount Jellicoe as Grandmaster, Hon. Michel, pro-Grandmaster at the annual communication, said lie had never failed in striving to uphold the highest traditions and ideals of the Craft. New Zealand was richer and Freemasonry stronger as a result of his work. Although in the past they had been fortunate in their Grand Masters, he was confident that no Grand Master had more truly endeared himself to members, and in the name of the Grand Lodge, lie had sent him a message of farewell, wishing a safe and pleasant voyage and expressing the hope that he would he spared for many years to render further service to the great Empire in which lie was such an outstanding figure,/ml that all the blessing this life could give would fall upon him and those near iiml dear to him. ITe staled that Lord Jellicoe, during Ids term of ollice, had devoted an average of urn evening a week to the intcrc.-ls of Freemasonry.
