CIRCULATING LIBRARIES.
FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS. PUBLIC BODIES TO BE APPROACHED. Tlu* Manawatu branch oC the New Zealand Educational Institute, in furtherance of its proposal to provide up-to-date circulating libraries for primary schools, has appointed delegates to wait upon the various public bodies in the district and solicit financial assistance for the formation and maintenance of 20 primary school libraries. The delegates who have been appointed, and the public bodies to which they will appeal, are as follow: Mr S. Liggins (Rongotea Totyn Board), Messrs Braik and Walker (Kairanga County Council), Messrs Liggins and Callanan (Manawatu County Council), Messrs Mason and Warwick (Foxton Borough Council), Messrs Hutton, Webber and Nicholson (Oroua County Council), and Messrs Mason and Callanan (Foxton Harbour Board). It is not expected that the delegates will attend on the various local authorities mentioned until after the school holidays.
