BANKRUPT’S OBLIGATIONS.

Hamilton, Yesterday. A Huntly storekeeper, James McGee, was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment for failure to keep books and accounts of his stationery business at Ellerslie. Defendant is an undischarged bankrupt and for contracting debts while in that slate was convicted and discharged. Two further charges of disposing of property otherwise than in ordinary way of trade, property having been, obtained on credit and not paid for, and obtaining credit to the r amount of £54 3/5 without disclosing the fact that he was an undischarged bankrupt, were withdrawn.
