MILITARY CAMP.
ESTABUSHED AT FOXTON. The Seventh Battery (18 pounder) under Captain Pollard, Adjutant of the Brigade, and with him Lieutenant Gardner and Lieutenant J. Brophy, went into camp yesterday on tiie local*racecourse, and will undergo military training until Friday next. The strength of the battery is about 100 men, including the officers in charge. The battery’s four eighteen-poun-der pieces were brought to Foxton on Thursday and live shell practice will be carried out on Thursday and Friday. In addition to shell practice, t'he buttery will engage in the usual field manoeuvres and physical training. Immediately after this camp, theEighth Battery will undergo a similar training course at the Foxton rpcceourse. ' ■
