GRIM DRAMA.
A FEROCIOUS VENGEANCE. London, November 7. Tin' 'Paris correspondent of the ‘•Daily Chronicle” states that a "rim drama, recalling a chapter of Balzac. happened at Arangos - Lo-Ro-urgii, on the Swiss-frontier. Madame Sarrazin, a widow aged OS, her son Lmiis and lier 28-year-old daughter, Marthe, had a wealthy neighbour named Ohevillot, who was an invalid and lived alone on a farm next to that of the Sarrazins. Fire broke out- in both houses, and when the firemen searched the ruins they found the body of Louis Sarrazin, but were unable to identity the other cliarrcd remains. Tn a chest of drawers in Chevillot’s house was a letter saying that lie hated Sarrazin and desired a ferocious vengeance; “but I am a coward, so our bones will burn together, mine and theirs. I am going to die a criminal.” The police believe that Ohevillot murdered the Sarrazin family and then set fire to the. premises, but do not believe he is dead, and are diligently searching for him.
